What does two-stage operation mean?
The furnace runs at a lower stage for mild weather and only steps up to full output when it's genuinely cold. That means longer, quieter cycles and more even temperatures instead of blasts of hot air.
How long does a Navien furnace last?
With annual maintenance, 15 to 20 years is a reasonable expectation for a quality furnace. Skipping maintenance — especially filter changes and combustion checks — shortens that.
How often should a Navien furnace be serviced?
